Canadian rock duo Death From Above 1979 is hitting the road in support of their new album, Is 4 Lovers.
While the band will perform at three festivals this year, including the Life Is Beautiful festival in Las Vegas on September 19, the North American tour won’t kick off until March 2022. Currently the trek gets underway in Washington, D.C. and is scheduled to wrap up April 3 in Pioneertown, CA.
The full intinerary and ticket details are available on Death From Above 1979’s website.
Meanwhile, the duo has released a new video for the song “Modern Guy,” the first track on Is 4 Lovers. Shot in Hamilton, Ontario, the clip features the duo’s Sebastien Grainger and Jesse F. Keeler in a seemingly never-ending car chase with themselves around the same industrial building. In other words, there are two Sebastiens and two Jesses: Two of them are driving in a 1981 Honda Prelude and they’re being chased by the other pair, who are driving in a ’87 Jeep Wagoneer
“‘Modern Guy’ is the first real driving song of the 21st century,” the duo says in a statement. “So we made a driving video. End of story.”
