Shinedown has premiered the video for “Daylight,” the current single off their new album, Planet Zero.
The clip, which accompanies the Amazon Original version of the song, features backstage and live footage from Brent Smith and company’s recent tour in support of Planet Zero.
“We wanted to show the power of the human condition,” Smith says of the visual. “As a band, we wanted to express our appreciation and our love of bringing people together. We have said it before, and we will say it again, we only have one boss. It just happens to be everyone in the audience. This is our love letter to the greatest fans in the world.”

Planet Zero, the seventh Shinedown album, was released in July. Both “Daylight” and the album title track hit #1 on Billboard‘s Mainstream Rock Airplay chart.
Shinedown had planned to continue touring behind Planet Zero in Europe in November and December, but the outing was canceled due to “economic and logistical” issues, with the exception of their U.K. shows.
